{"id":331,"date":"2011-06-09T09:44:52","date_gmt":"2011-06-09T15:44:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rodeoclassifieds.com\/blog\/?p=331"},"modified":"2011-07-19T13:32:43","modified_gmt":"2011-07-19T19:32:43","slug":"high-school-rodeo-contestants-gear-up-for-provincial-finals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.rodeoclassifieds.com\/blog\/high-school-rodeo-contestants-gear-up-for-provincial-finals\/","title":{"rendered":"High School Rodeo Contestants Gear Up for Provincial Finals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Another work week is close to an end and everyone&#8217;s getting ready for a weekend full of barrel racing and roping.\u00a0 I&#8217;m off to Hamiota, MB tonight for the Manitoba High School Rodeo Association Provincial Finals that start tomorrow.\u00a0 I&#8217;ll be sure to get some pictures captured of this big weekend to share with you all on Monday.\u00a0 Alberta and BC both have their provincial high school finals this weekend as well (taking place in Ponoka and Williams Lake).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rodeoclassifieds.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/CCA1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-333\" title=\"Canadian Cowboys Association\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rodeoclassifieds.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/CCA1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"131\" height=\"131\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.rodeoclassifieds.com\/blog\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/CCA1.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.rodeoclassifieds.com\/blog\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/CCA1-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 131px) 100vw, 131px\" \/><\/a>This weekend is also a busy one for any CCA (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.canadiancowboys.ca\/index.htm\">Canadian Cowboys Association<\/a>) cardholders.\u00a0 There are rodeos in Eston, Lancer and Warman, SK.\u00a0 Eston and Lancer rodeos are also dual approved with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chinookrodeoassociation.com\/index.html\">Chinook Rodeo Association<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Canadian Professional Rodeo Association (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rodeocanada.com\/index.htm\">CPRA<\/a>) also has three rodeos taking place this weekend.\u00a0 Contestants will travel to Brooks, Lea Park and Rocky Mountain House, AB to try and bring home a cheque.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rodeoclassifieds.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/CPRA1.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-336\" title=\"Canadian Professional Rodeo Association\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rodeoclassifieds.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/CPRA1.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"140\" height=\"128\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And finally, like every weekend, there are lots of other barrel racing and roping jackpots (that is as long any rain hasn&#8217;t gotten in the way!).
