{"id":523,"date":"2011-07-12T08:11:26","date_gmt":"2011-07-12T14:11:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rodeoclassifieds.com\/blog\/?p=523"},"modified":"2011-07-19T13:15:58","modified_gmt":"2011-07-19T19:15:58","slug":"day-4-pictures-of-the-stampede-and-canadians-up-in-pool-b","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.rodeoclassifieds.com\/blog\/day-4-pictures-of-the-stampede-and-canadians-up-in-pool-b\/","title":{"rendered":"Day 4 Pictures of the Stampede and Canadians up in Pool B"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pool B of the Calgary Stampede will be gearing up for their first performance this afternoon.\u00a0 Contestants will be hoping for good rides and times to make them advance to the Showdown Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>In the <em>saddle bronc riding<\/em>, there are four Canadians competing in Pool B: Todd Herzog, Kyle Thomson and Luke Butterfield (all from Alberta) and Braken, Saskatchewan&#8217;s Rylan Geiger.<\/p>\n<p>In the <em>bareback riding<\/em>, Albertan cowboys Matt Lait, Dusty LaValley, Reid Rowan, Michael Solberg and Kyle Bowers will be riding in hopes of making the Showdown Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>In the <em>bull riding<\/em>, the three Canadian riders competing in Pool B are Ty Pozzobon of Merritt, BC; Aaron Roy of Yellow Grass, SK; and Tyler Thomson of Black Diamond, AB.<\/p>\n<p>In the <em>tie-down roping<\/em>, there will only be one Canadian competing in Pool B and that is Alwin Bouchard of Scandia, AB.<\/p>\n<p>In the <em>steer wrestling<\/em>, seven of the ten competitors in Pool B are from Canada.\u00a0 The steer wrestlers in Pool B are Curtis Cassidy, Jessie Heggie, JD Hays, Straws Milan, Clayton Moore, Todd Maughan and Cody Cassidy.<\/p>\n<p>In the <em>barrel racing<\/em>, Canadian&#8217;s competing in Pool B are Gaylene Buff of Westwold, BC; Julie Leggett of Trail, BC; Rana Koopmans of Lethbridge, AB; and Sierra Stoney of Calgary, AB.<\/p>\n<p>For draws and results of each round from the Stampede <a href=\"http:\/\/cs.calgarystampede.com\/events\/rodeo\/results.html\">click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some great shots from Day 4 at the Calgary Stampede:<\/p>\n<p>http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/media\/set\/?set=a.255034307845581.84651.234641839884828<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pool B of the Calgary Stampede will be gearing up for their first performance this afternoon.\u00a0 Contestants will be hoping for good rides and times to make them advance to the Showdown Sunday.
