Entry fees:
$180 for all 4 races OR $50 per race – Open class
$140 for all 4 races OR $40 per race – Youth class
$10 per race – Peewee

Time Onlies are $4 each OR 3 for $10 ($5ea for those who are not entered into race)
Exhibition runs $5 each

8:00am – 9:00am Open Riding
9:00am – 12:30am Time Onlies
12:40pm – 12:45pm Peewee racers (run back to back)
12:45pm – 1:15pm Youth racers
1:15pm – 2:45pm Open racers
2:45pm – 3:15pm Youth second JP
3:15pm – 4:45pm Open second JP
4:45pm Exhibition runs (or immediately following race)

Entries will open on KLG Barrel Racing FB page April 17th, 2016 for both double headers – April 24th & May 1st

· CASH ONLY (paid onsite) – NO REFUNDS will be given without note from vet.
· To qualify for discounted entry you must pay in full prior to your first run.
· Open class will be paid out to 6 spots in each division – 29 – 24 – 19 – 14 – 9 – 5
· Youth class payouts will be determined on the number of entries.
· Within each class – all monies will be split equally between each division
· Rake after every 5, between classes & big rake after every 50 runs
· Silver Slate Concession will be open during events.
· No membership requirements.

THERE WILL BE NO POOR SPORTSMANSHIP TOLERATED. PEOPLE WHO ARE FOUND ABUSING THEIR HORSE OR OTHER COMPETITORS WILL BE SCRATCHED AND ASKED TO LEAVE THE PROPERTY. IF THERE ARE ANY ISSUES PLEASE BRING IT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE EVENT HOSTS AND THEY WILL BE DEALT WITH ACCORDINGLY

RULES
-NO LOOSE DOGS – All dogs must be leashed or tied at trailer.
-No refunds of fees once fees are paid without vet release.
-No portable panels or tying horses to the trailers overnight is allowed, if stalls are available. We do not want our grass damaged.
-In the event that a tie occurs, there will be a run off to determine placing.
-Pants, hat/helmet, long sleeve shirt and boots (western attire) are required for run and awards. If no western attire worn at awards presentation, participant will give up their prizes and monetary awards. Will not be able to enter arena without western attire.
-Good sportsmanship is expected at all times. All contestants and their family members are expected to display good sportsmanship at all times. No level of abuse toward any animal at this event will be allowed. Foul language, misconduct or abusive comments spoken to any contestant, spectator, staff member or volunteer will result in immediate contestant disqualification and no refund of entry fees. Contestants are also responsible for traveling companions and family members. All decisions made by the Race Director are final.
-Times can be carried over from the open to youth and senior.
-Riders who think they have requested their time to carryover into a race class but have not properly filled out their entry form will be turned out if they do not run; the host will not change their run to a carryover unless the office staff has made a mistake.
-The rider must declare his or her intention to carryover when signing up for the first race.A rider may change from a carry-over to a ride (or the other way around) if they have not yet run in the class from which their time will carry AND the producer agrees to do it based upon the office workload at the time of the request.
-Running a horse out of draw position will result in disqualification. Horses will be entered into the race management system as indicated on the entry form. It is the rider’s responsibility to make any corrections within a reasonable amount of time.

Directions:
From Taber – turn north off hiway #3 at the case equipment dealer onto hiway #864. Turn east on township road 11-4, it is a dead end road, drive to the end. Watch for signs.

From the north – hiway #526 (Enchant hiway) then south towards Taber on hiway #864. Turn east on township road 11-4, it is a dead end road, drive to the end. Watch for signs.

From Vauxhall – turn west off hiway #36 onto township road 130. Drive past the golf course to the stop sign. Turn south on hiway #864. Turn east on township road 11-4, it is a dead end road, drive to the end. Watch for signs.
