VET OUTS:

vet outs are excepted 48hrs up until the race must have a DETAILED letter from you veterinarian in order to receive a full refund

after the 48hr mark it is up to the race producer whether a refund will be issued. Horse will have to be visibly lame in video or in person in order to receive a full refund. IF you require a vet out after the 48hr mark it is a must you contact the race producer by phone ASAP as once Race producer is on site she/he may not have access/time to check emails Thanks for understanding

1/2 split Open/JR and 1sec split Peewee

Full Western attire: long sleeve shirts allowed

Day Awards 1hour after last competitor must attend and in full western wear to receive awards (Day awards go to 3rd place in each division)

All cheque will be done at end of weekend

Saddles- every division winner per day will be put into a draw at the end of the weekend and the person’s name that’s pulled will receive the champion saddle

Riders will be auctioned off for charity prior to the race
7/10 Split Barrel race
50% of the money raised from the auction will go to Bc Childrens Hospital and 50% goes into the pot

THERE WILL BE NO POOR SPORTSMANSHIP TOLERATED. PEOPLE WHO ARE FOUND ABUSING THEIR HORSE OR OTHER COMPETITORS WILL BE SCRATCHED AND ASKED TO LEAVE THE PROPERTY. IF THERE ARE ANY ISSUES PLEASE BRING IT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE EVENT HOSTS AND THEY WILL BE DEALT WITH ACCORDINGLY

RULES
-NO LOOSE DOGS – All dogs must be leashed or tied at trailer.
-No refunds of fees once fees are paid without vet release.
-No portable panels or tying horses to the trailers overnight is allowed, if stalls are available. We do not want our grass damaged.
-In the event that a tie occurs, there will be a run off to determine placing.
-Pants, hat/helmet, long sleeve shirt and boots (western attire) are required for run and awards. If no western attire worn at awards presentation, participant will give up their prizes and monetary awards. Will not be able to enter arena without western attire.
-Good sportsmanship is expected at all times. All contestants and their family members are expected to display good sportsmanship at all times. No level of abuse toward any animal at this event will be allowed. Foul language, misconduct or abusive comments spoken to any contestant, spectator, staff member or volunteer will result in immediate contestant disqualification and no refund of entry fees. Contestants are also responsible for traveling companions and family members. All decisions made by the Race Director are final.
-Times can be carried over from the open to youth and senior.
-Riders who think they have requested their time to carryover into a race class but have not properly filled out their entry form will be turned out if they do not run; the host will not change their run to a carryover unless the office staff has made a mistake.
-The rider must declare his or her intention to carryover when signing up for the first race.A rider may change from a carry-over to a ride (or the other way around) if they have not yet run in the class from which their time will carry AND the producer agrees to do it based upon the office workload at the time of the request.
-Running a horse out of draw position will result in disqualification. Horses will be entered into the race management system as indicated on the entry form. It is the rider’s responsibility to make any corrections within a reasonable amount of time.

Directions:
From Taber – turn north off hiway #3 at the case equipment dealer onto hiway #864. Turn east on township road 11-4, it is a dead end road, drive to the end. Watch for signs.

From the north – hiway #526 (Enchant hiway) then south towards Taber on hiway #864. Turn east on township road 11-4, it is a dead end road, drive to the end. Watch for signs.

From Vauxhall – turn west off hiway #36 onto township road 130. Drive past the golf course to the stop sign. Turn south on hiway #864. Turn east on township road 11-4, it is a dead end road, drive to the end. Watch for signs.

JJK Series #9-#11 is open to anyone……it is NBHA/PRCA/BRN4D sanctioned. Sept 16 is $500 added, Sept 17-18 is $2000 added each day. Youth (18 under) is a 3D format (.75 splits) and Open is 4D format with .5, .5, full second split. Youth entry is $25/Open is $50, pre-entry due Sept 7th!
