Re: Robo Cow ? Anyone have one

We have a Pro cutter and love it. They are great to deal with. Al Dunning uses/helped design the Cow Trac mechanical flag and I would get a Cow Trac the next time I get a flag. You can adjust the speed from the hand controller. All the other flags I have seen (including ours) you have to change the ...

Smooth Run Equine and Formula 1 Noni Supplements

I was wondering what people think of these supplements. Or what supplements/feeds do you feed your barrel horse. There are lots out there so I would like pros and cons and if it is worth feeding these products. Thanks :)

Arena Rental prices???

Hi,
I have been asked if we would rent our indoor arena out for a weekend event. I was just wondering what people charge to rent their indoor arena for a day. We have a heated 75'x180' riding area and the whole building is 100'x 200'. Thanks :)

Re: Choosing a Colt Starter

Cowhorse trainers do an excellent job!! I start all my own colts and I train them to do cowhorse for the first year and then I get them going around barrels. It puts such a great base on them to go do anything then training them on barrels is super easy cause they know how to carry themselves and us...

Re: Sherry Cervi Draw Gag

There are a couple online stores in the states that carry it if you google it. Or you can get a Loomis gag bit and they are sold at Frontier Western Shop. I've got one and it works great

Re: Need advice...how to get someone to honor guarantee

That sucks that that happened to you. But it is a sale and it is riskier to buy from a sale. I think the best thing you can do is tell the people who run the sale what happened and then maybe they won't let him bring anymore horses into the sale. They don't want people bringing lame horses in to the...

Buying A Trailer in the U.S.

I am looking at buying a trailer in the U.S. and I was wondering what I should be expecting for added costs at the border. Is there anything I need to know to get the trailer into Canada? Thanks

Re: Getting the correct lead/excercises

What I do with colts that struggle picking up a lead is just lope them on the lead they are struggling with and don't lope them on their good lead for awhile (just go one way). After a week or two they get comfortable with their bad lead and then its not as much of an issue. I also do a lot of work ...

Re: dust control

We recently purchased Soil Moist. I looked at alot of options and talked to alot of people and found that this was a good option. It isn't expensive and it lasts 5 yrs in your sand and it cuts your watering down by 50%. I have rode in arenas that use this and it seems to work great. Looking forward ...
