Re: Horse Transportation to US info

It depends who is hauling the horse. If the US buyer is hauling then they just need the coggins & health papers plus meet with US vet upon entry. If the Canadian owner hauls the horse it becomes a Commercial entry. You then need Ace-Manifest & bar codes plus brokerage papers. If u use a hors...

Re: Equine Insurance

We also use Brooks-Maberry, Inc. I really liked the feature that once you are using them, if you purchase a new horse at an auction for example, that horse is insured for a few days (can't remember the exact number) without any additional cost to you. That is really great when you have to leave a ho...

Re: 2009 SBRA Finals, Moose Jaw Sask

Just curious on how there is going to be a run in and out since the end door isn't centered (more to the left than right). Are you going to angle the pattern? That door works for the rodeo because they put temporary bleachers on the right side so that barrel gets moved in but one side would be at a ...

Re: CCA Finals - Explanation Please?

Okay, the last two years the deal was that no matter how much our fellow Ontario competitors made, the top money earner in there association was guaranteed a spot a agribition, even though some girls up here in 10th spot made way more money then them. The ontario competitors get to decide if they w...

Re: Need some input about a situation...

I just received a phone call from a friend that told me that I was being "Bashed" on the forum. It is too bad that ropin doubles does not have the integrity to talk to me in person but instead has to use a forum and hide behind a computer name so here is my reply: We were forced to move ou...

Loss of Barrel Racer

Our condolences to Dick and family. I am so glad I had the opportunity to have a visit with Nancy at the NL Futurity. Although she was fighting such a courageous battle, she she still had the spunk to cheer and "tease" a few of the contestants. She will be sadly missed. Kevin, Marla &...

Timers

Just wanted to add a little info about the Wireless timers. We currently have 3 Wireless and 2 with cords in the CCA. As mentioned in a previous post, the cords cause big problems if not properly looked after however, the wireless timers are virtually problem free. However, with saying that, one pro...

Malta CCA Rodeo Cancelled

I had replied to the VS in MT & WY topic but thought I would make a new topic so people could see it quicker. The CCA Executive has cancelled the Malta rodeo due to VS in Montana and other affected states. Hopefully contestants hadn't spent their money on health papers/coggins yet.
