Re: Chevy and GMC Diesels

We love our GMC, although the mileage isn't great.....then again with the prices of fuel they all seem bad!!! It has great power and drives like a car. We have had our almost two years and not much trouble. One map sensor freezes up the odd time when it is -30 with blowing snow, but not a big deal.....

I have had two saddles shipped up in the last two months. One through Fed Ex from Kansas that was around $50 (can't remember the exact price), and one from Montana that was $65 through UPS and there were extra fees. My sister in-law- had one shipped up this month and it cost her $160!! I think she g...

My dads cousin is the stallion manager at the Lazy E and he said Corona Cartels stud fee is $50,000! That is unreal!! Not sure if he is still standing there or not.

Shape

In these little arenas it seems you barely get going so you would think it would be harder to hurt one. This is the first year I have run a horse out of shape. I guess he got rode lots before the CFR, ...

Being from Nebraska I am going to have to cheer for Sparky and Molly Powell!!! Also, I noticed this year how many Mid West people are there this year. Usually there are A Lot of Texans, but Colorado, SD, NE, MT...that is awesome!

Turn arounds.

Hope I can explain this.........You can start to teach one on the ground by making them yeild their front quarters stepping across with the foot nearest you. If you are on them you can one rein stop, apply outside leg pressure and wait for them to reach with their inside foot. The second they reach ...

Clinton

The Gaining Respect on the Ground Series is important I think. Clinton preaches ground work and not just with colts. He has such amazing ground work exercises that once you do ride your horse they are BROKE!!! JMO. I watched one the other day where he used a 15 yr. old mare. Pretty interesting. They...
