Re: BIG VALLEY RODEO
Not many associations are left to vote it down, just a couple in Alberta. If the CCA, CRA, BC and Manitoba associations have voted YES then that means..what..I think 3 or 4 in Alberta who voted NO..No doubt the extra membership dollars and extra membership monies are helpin...

I was glad to see that the CPRA is offering the finals winners and season leaders a semi pro card. If pe...
Yes I agree, I find it odd that the only place in North America where Amateur Assoc. dont allow Pro Card Holders to compete is in Alberta. I would say we are slightly behind the times.......
I wouldn't say they are behind the times, I would say that new and less ex...

Just curious if you decided to get your horse nerved or gave him the shots or something else. Any results?
A friend of mine has run into a similar situation with her older horse and doesn't know which way to go.

Have you taken a clinic from anyone? I would recommend it if you haven't. You can learn so much and be shown properly and safely. With summer coming there are usually lots from either pro canadian or american ropers. When I started I went to a Ricky Green clinic and learnt so much. It will be money ...
I'm not impressed with it - not for the fact that it's not in Medicine Hat - more for the fact that a 3 year contract has been signed. What about Grand Prairie in the next couple of years? Why was it signed for 3 years - other than to save $ on the cost of the dirt? I thou...

You need to break/rip the clay's hard pan up. We have the same ground. You can then slowly add sand in and mix it in, but you can't just put it on top without it getting slippery.

What I don't understand is how some are saying how dare you move the finals from central location like it was written in stone. I don't see anywhere in the rules that the finals have to be in cental alberta. It can be anywhere in Alberta. It's nice to see that another committee really wants to put t...

That would definately shorten the week up but having 2 more finals takes a lot more sponsorship. Finding sponsors seems to be getting harder each year. I would rather go to one big finals then 2 small ones. And we are back in the same boat of where to have the finals North or South. I still would re...
