Re: Urgent Missing Horses

No sign of them anywhere :( They were last seen penned up at the neighors. I had Shauna Cole do a reading and she said that both have passed on due to being shot :( Very devastating!!!!!

Thank you so much for asking though, wish I had good news to tell ;)

Urgent Missing Horses

Last seen penned up on Wolf Lake Rd north of Hwy 16 east of Edson. 1 Solid bay Standardbred type gelding with white marks over his back and 1 chesnut Percheron cross gelding with white blaze and 3 white socks. Been missing since Sept 14. Possibly stolen. RCMP and LIS have been contacted. Horses are ...

Re: abra entry fees

I would believe its due to a better facility. The entry fee has not increased in years and you have to expect it to come up eventually. The cost of running such an event costs more every year as it is. Between the fees for announcers, fuel for equipment, rentals etc. goes up every year. Being able t...

Re: Drying out in winter

I use a wool cooler on mine, and haul them home with it on, usually by the time they get home they are dry and I brush them out and leave them or put a blanket on. Works like a charm!!!

dust control

I am looking for some suggestions for our ag society arena. We need help with dust control. Have anyone had any experience with anything besides water or calcium? This arena is used by both horses and dogs.

Thank you

Re: Barrel Saddles

My horse is exactly the same, the only one I found that fit him was the Dee Butterfield with a 6R tree. I tried around 20 different saddles on him. They have great flare and a little bit of flex just at the shoulder and loin. He absolutely loves it and never moved freer.

Good luck!!!

Super Wide!

Looking for recommendations from people who ride draft crosses in the mountains. We have a gorgeous QH/Percheron that we use for packing (had to custom made pack bars) and would love to use him for riding also. He is very round. Does anyone one know of a saddle that fits these super wide guys. We ha...

Anyone from Lloyd area going to Finals?

I really need a ride for a well behaved Heeler to the AB/Sask border to be picked up. Will send with a dog crate.
