Re: Futurity/Derby Horse

I think the thing that has been confusing is that different Furturies have different rules. I am interested in MBRA and Northern Lights and I believe they do differ somewhat. So the best thing would be contact each organization.
Thanks

Re: Futurity/Derby Horse

Practice runs would be toonie runs before an MBRA or any other event that has no payout, is that correct. Or if you know of any other place they have these runs?
Thanks

Re: Futurity/Derby Horse

The Derby horse I understand. The Futurity horse I have a couple of questions. First they must be 5 years and under, if this their actual age or age of Jan. lst of the year they compete in. They can only do practice runs and not compete in any BR for money or other wise. They can compete after Dec. ...

Futurity/Derby Horse

Would someone very simply explain the difference from the two horses. What qualifies a Futurity Horse and what disqualifies a Futurity Horse?
Can a horse be a Futurity Horse for more than one year? The rules related to both Futurity and Derby Horse.
Thanks

Frenchman Buck

Just wondering what owners of Frenchman Buck think about his off spring? Are they easy to train, level headed etc. And any faults you have seen with them. See lots of his off spring in barrel racing in Sask.
Thanks :)

Special Thanks

Back a couple of months ago I posted an ad looking for a rodeo horse for a sad little cowboy. My grandson lost his special 7 year old partner to a tragic accident. We would like to thank Derrick and Tara Reimer of Steinbach for the great little buckskin gelding called Buck. Buck had big shoes to fil...

Re: DEEPEST SYMPATHY

Casey will be greatly missed by all the up and coming young rodeo people. Casey along with his two brothers held another very successful roping clinic just a couple of weeks ago. He was willing to help any young cowboy or cowgirl that needed extra help. That particular weekend it was my grandson Ril...

I am wanting to insure a horse can you tell me the name of the company in the USA?
Does this company require you to put them down if injured and not able to be used?

Pole Bending Clinics

Does anyone know of any Pole Bending Clinics coming up or someone that will work with a student and horse? Manitoba or into Saskatchewan just over the Manitoba border.
