Re: Horse Coolers---Best type?

Does fleece wick away the sweat as good as wool? I have heard that fleece keeps the sweat close, where the wool wicks the sweat to the outer layer keeping it away from the skin, keeping the horse dry and warm. Just wondering if you guys found this to be true?

Horse Coolers---Best type?

Just wondering everyone's thoughts on the best cooler to buy for your horse?

Fleece vs Wool?

Ones that go up the neck vs Ones that just cover the body?

Best brands?

Any other info is appreciated. Thanks! :)

Re: Oxy-Gen, which one do you feed

leocanchaser, what did you find out was the most fed supplement? Just curious, as I have never tried Oxy-Gen but I know a lot of people do. Also, for people that use Oxy-gen what are the benefits of this supplement?

Thanks.

Re: Disengaging the Hindquarters...Drills?

Thanks rtees3. She isn't on the wrong lead and she isn't cross firing either. I will try those drills that you mentioned and see how that goes with her. It's not that we are running too hard to the first barrel because I haven't ran her much so I want this problem fixed right now before she learns i...

Re: Disengaging the Hindquarters...Drills?

I am wanting her to get her butt more in the ground to crank the turn she drives so hard with her back end that she doesn't "snap" in turns she tends to to blow out the backside of the first barrel because she is not finishing her turns She doesn't do this at home as bad but it is somethin...

Disengaging the Hindquarters...Drills?

Does anyone have any good drills out there to get a horse to disengage their hindquarters? I am running a horse right now that needs to learn to disengage her hindquarters more before turning the barrel. Thanks :)

Any other information is appreciated. :)

Re: What to do with your old lame horse...

I agree with gilliegirl. If you don't want keep the horse around and she is a sweetheart, a great place for her to go would be a horse camp where kids learn to ride, take care, groom the horse. I would think there would be no better place than that for your horse. Wouldn't ever get over rode but ins...

Re: Special Guest - Molly Powell - ends Dec 22nd

Hey Molly! Thanks for your time on these questions! :-D I would like to know what are your top five most absolute things that you expect your horse to master (training wise) before you start seasoning them? Also with that, how do you teach a horse to keep running around a barrel and not a "sto...
