Re: Stallion Suggestions

With what you say my first choice would be Ninty Nine Goldmine. I bred my 14 hand docs hickory bred mare to him and love, love, love the filly I got this year out of her. She's going to be taller then her momma for sure but is maintaining her moms build. When I watch her move she is like a cat. Ive ...

Re: NFR on tv

Well isn't that just wonderful. I look forward to it every year. Anyone know who we can complain to about this? The PRCA would be my guess as they chose to pay this company to do the telecast. I'm totally bummed.

Sundowner Horse Trailer Issues

I've been shopping for a new to me lQ trailer and in my searching I came across a forum where some were saying there is an issue with the disintegration of the under structure due to faulty undercoating of all trailers manufactured between 1998-2008. Has anyone had any issues with this or no of any?...

Bringing in U.S. Clinician

I'm wanting to bring in a clinician from the U.S. for a clinic. When I tried this a few years ago he was stopped at airport customs. There is something to do with them coming in to make money. I've heard there is a government form I can fill out to get him in. Is anyone familiar with this? Where can...

Re: Hosting Clinic by U.S. Instructor.

I know when we've hired US judges we had to submit a form to customs, & the judge had to have a letter stating they were coming up to judge & being paid. Let me see if I can find the right form. Our judges had no problem once we had that paperwork taken care of. D Thanks I'm looking into th...

Hosting Clinic by U.S. Instructor.

I am looking for information from those of you who have hosted or put on clinics using U.S. instructors. I did this once before and when the clinician arrived at the airport he was grilled through the nail (they were on a mission - grilling everyone on that plane). Anyway Canadian Customs were not h...

Respiratory Supplement

I'm looking for a good respiratory supplement for a horse with sensitivity to dust, mold, etc. She developed a cough early this fall when rode. It got bad enough I had to give her respi free daily to get through our fall training and show schedule. After the last show I gave her 3 weeks off and she ...

Re: sarcoids

My one gelding has had a sarcoid on the corner of his ear for quite awhile. I don't believe they are contagious as none of my other horses have one, however a mare I bought last fall came with one on her ear as well. I have had some success with the big growth falling off using a product my vet orde...

Re: Crossing Boarder with horses

I agree with Miss-Brook there is a standard set of paper work required by CFIA depending on the state you are bringing the horse from. What I would suggest is to talk to your local CFIA - Federal Vet for the specific paper work required. Wouldn't hurt to have their name and number on hand when you a...

Liability Insurance............

I am looking at hosting a clinic at a private arena. The owners are concerned about insurance. They have insurance if they host but not sure about if they are renting me the facility. To those of you who host clinics how do you handle liability insurance? Can you buy some for a resonable amount for ...
