Foundation/Cowhorse trainer

Looking for recommendations on a trainer that puts on a very good foundation for a green horse--- or a cowhorse trainer that will put on a good foundation and/or a good introduction to cattle. Don't want my horse to be a cutter, but want it to have a start in tracking cattle. Would prefer someone in...

Info on trailer tires?

Where is the best place to get good horse trailer tires for a reasonable price (ie ok tire, kal tire, canadian tire.....?)? And can anyone suggest a decent tire to go with? I need ST225 75R15, but I don't haul often or far, maybe 1x/week from spring - fall and maybe 2 hours at the furthest. I still ...

Re: Ranch Horse Competitions

I can tell you where some have been held in the past, between my sister and I we've entered a few, but as hard as we've looked to find an association/website to give us a bit more of a heads up as to when and where they are, we haven't found anything. It's usually Ag societies that put them on, so i...

ASAP Looking for Animal/people energy communicator

Does anyone know of someone that is good with doing energy communication with people? I need someone that is REALLY, REALLY good. I have a very sick sister that we need to find alternative help for ASAP , to see if something other than drastic surgery can help her heal. Dr.'s are only giving her unt...

Re: Muscle breakdown/Beet pulp advice

A good supplement for vitamin B is Brewers yeast. Diamond V brewers yeast is branded directly for horses. This is a little off topic but since there was two posts on muscle issues thought I would post it here anyway. I did a lot of research into feeds as I had a mare that had tied up slightly a few ...

Electric Fence Tape

Just wondering if anyone knows which one is better..... there is the white 1 inch wide electric fence tape about 400ft/roll from peavey mart, or yellow 1inch tape about 600ft/roll but slightly less $$$ per roll than the white from CO-OP. (sorry, brand names I can't tall you) Now if they were from th...

Re: mounted shooting

what kind of info are you looking for. You can go to alberta mountedshooters.com and email the contact and they will give you a bunch of names of people in your area or where they hold practises. They are very helpful, and its fun.

Gymkhana club fees

Just wondering, those of you that belong to gymkhana clubs, what you pay for membership and playday fees? The club in my area is considerably higher than 2 others I have belonged to in the past....and it's because of insurance.... so I'm curious to find out differences and maybe try and help our clu...

Re: lazy horse....

Would like to hear how you make out with that. I have a super lazy horse that I've jackpotted for 4 years with no luck in getting faster than 3D. So I thought I could go PENNING on him . lol But he's still fairly lazy with that!!! The only time he'll go fast"er" is when he "runs away&...
