Horse sale ads pet peeve

I've been horse shopping and hardly anyone will reply to my emails. I have even sent more than 1 email. I still see these horses for sale and even the ads are renewed, grrr. I guess I'm not buying them.

Re: horse on trial paperwork

I agree with Misty, cheque in hand. We've had friends try horses and they still have to pay for them up front and if they can't pay whole amount at the time, insurance needs to be placed on the animal. jmo.

Re: riding during pregnancy

I barrel raced until I was 6 mos with my first and 5 mos with the other 2. Had to quit riding as my tummy had some pulling which was very painful. My Dr. said to continue my regular activities, but keep some common sense. I had to ride to keep my sanity, but if something had happened I would have fe...

You can try mixing the powder with some sweet feed and I use apple cider vinegar to get it to stick.

Winter blankets

Opinions on winter horse blankets. I really love my Big D #54 magnums, but kinda pricey. Looking at what others use. Weatherbeeta, McAlister, Rambo, etc? My horses run in a herd, so looking for something that can handle alot of abuse. Where are you getting them also? Thanx
