Thanks guys! I ended up buying the saddle because it fit her so nicely and the people that had it before must have not liked it because it looks like it's never been used. One of my good friends told me how to look for little things in saddle quality and I couldn't believe the quality when I checked...

I bred my mare to Extra Fire twice(because I love fire water flits). This year I thought I'd put some more speed on her and see what happens so I bred to Wild on Corona. He broke a track record at Delta in Oklahoma at 220 yards so I'm crossing my fingers for some bottom end speed. I can't decide for...

I love mine too. I think they are nice looking and comfortable. I have model #1180 it's really pretty. The only thing I don't like is it's a 14.5" seat and I should have ordered a 13.5" seat

Black Rhino Saddles?

I tryed a "black rhino all about the horse" saddle on my horse(it's black basket pattern brand new shape, rough out, black rahide horn and on the back of the seat there is braided black rahide) are these good saddles they seem really heavy. They want $1400. for it which seems fairly steep for a used...

My mare started tying up on alfalfa, it only started when she got older. I use to feed her lots for energy because she won't eat grain.(I know she's a little different, one time I had her grassing in the front yard and my husband left to huge buckets of chop out (barley) and you could see she nibble...

The only thing I don't like about time only's is they run them very last. I wish they could run them in with everyone else because when there is nobody else running time only's you sometimes have to run your horse twice in a row and I'm not interested in doing that.

I agree with the charging extra at jackpots because I help out when I can but with two children under the age of two. I find my time very limited. I try to help out when I can, but I can't always, and I find barrel racing my time away from the kids, but my husband will only baby sit for so long. At ...

I agree I think it's very unfair. I want to concentrate on my run not on the duties. I'm glad someone posted this because I feel the same!

He sounds good Private Message me with his name if you don't want to post it on here. Lacombe is not to far the only trainer I found is in Sherwood park so anything closer than that is wonderful. :D

I should have clarified this before because I've had a couple really nice PM's about barrel horse trainers and that's not what I'm looking for.I'm just looking for someone to put some miles on her (30-60 days)as I haven't ridden in 2 years and I'm not interested in getting on her. I'm a little nervo...

Horse Trainer

Hi, I'm looking for a horse trainer for my 6 year old quarterhorse mare. She is running bred and can tend to be hot, she also can hump up the odd time, but she really has no major buck in her. She is off the track and has been mishandled by previous owners, so she gets really defensive and nervious ...
