Hey, I could only make it to one and really enjoyed the chance to get back inside after running on the big outside patterns. I thought the ground was good and I hope you have more.

Lazy S Arena phone number

Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me out with the phone number for Lazy S Arena. I can't seem to find a Calgary phone book in my office :x or find the number on the internet. Thanks in advance.

From what I understand it is really expense to have a function at the Westerner and you have to book a couple of years in advance.

You're welcome gilliegirl, he doesn't get used very often anymore so I'm sure he was happy to get to run again on the weekend. Actually yesterday he was acting more like the old Bear so I think that running a couple of patterns brought him out of his 'pouty' slump.

Actually it is up to the Sundre Rodeo Committee if we are allowed to use the grounds each week. Especially if there has been rain, they are very particular about the use of the grounds.

The jackpot is still a go for tonight. Sundre didn't get that much rain - only about 1/2 an inch at my parents place which is only 6 miles from Sundre. The ground there can take a little bit of rain usually anyway. Hope to see you tonight!

Ground at Sundre Rodeo

I have heard of a few comments wondering why the committee at Sundre waited until after the rodeo to fix the ground. Well the reason is that until this year the ground has stood up reasonably well even when almost under water. This year it wasn't realized until the Thursday night before the rodeo th...

Raking after 5 on paper or runs?

Hi I was wondering if in FCA if the raking was after say 5 girls on paper or if it was after so many runs. So if you were suppose to run right after the rake and there is a turnout you get bumped up into the bottom of the rake? Just curious since this has happen to me at the last two rodeos and I wa...

Last summer I was dealing with what sounds like the same problem with my mare. I swtiched to the S cheek barrel hackamore. It solved all of my problems. But it leaves nothing in their mouth so if your horse is one that needs a mouth piece it may not work for you. Good Luck :horseshoe:
