Re: bit suggestions??

Hey Guys, I need a bit suggestion! I have a very very hard running little mare who has a ton of turn... with very little rate. She is not ready to be running as fast as she may think.. however as soon as you get on her face, she sticks her nose out and disengages her back end and flattens out... I ...

Re: Air In Time

I actually got to ride Air In Time "Jag" and he was so nice to be around and to ride. He was very willing and easy to train. I haven't rode any offspring but if they are anything like him they should be nice. Here is a link to a video of me working him on the pattern. http://www.youtube.co...

Re: Higher gullet or wider tree?

I am not sure where you live but if you are anywhere near me I could sure take a look at it for you. It sounds to me like your saddle is too wide for your horses. It can still get tight in the shoulders even if it is too wide (because it will drop down the shoulder and then be tight). I hope that ma...

Re: Favorite Bit

Re: Saddle Fitting

It really depends, and if you're not too sure on saddle fitting, it would be in your best interest to consult someone who does, and who can come out and take a look. Sometimes it's a really great idea to take your horse somewhere that has a few saddles (a friend, a riding stable...), so you can try...

Re: Help with Horse's Feet

I have personally used Oxy-Max Intensive Hoof Care on two different horses with excellent results. One had a quarter crack that we had to be really agressive on and cut a huge portion of the hoof off. He quickly grew it back and the farrier was quite impressed with the rate of growth. They are scre...

Re: Benalto Rodeo

I am no help on directions and I know how to drive there but no idea how to describe it - It is very very small and you should be able find it pretty easy :) The arena is a roundish shape, smaller to medium size...last year was harder ground but in years past it has been a pea gravel, run in and run...
