I think the grounds at Salmon Arm are locked usually, and there are no more rodeo grounds at Chase. So either Golden, Merritt are your best bets.

Ya I we tried to stop at Chase last time thru... it is now a soccer field!

I hope the fire at Kamloops does not make things tricky to get thru????

The rodeo grounds in Chase has moved - its not by the grocery store and school anymore. It's across the tracks. Pritchard is generally open I believe. Are you going down the Coq?? If you are there is Merritt. Or the KXA in Kamloops.

Merritt is a great place to stay. KXA has been a crappy place to stay this year.

Golden grounds are great too. When your headed west into town, you come down a big hill at the bottom will be an intersection I think a set of lights, you turn left and head through down town, once you come out the other end of town the grounds will be on the left, up a hill (gravel road), I don't recall if there are signs or not. I know I'm sorry this is vague I'm sorry just going off what I remember hope it helps.

I sent you a PM. But Merritt is a really nice facility. They have everything you need and it's really handy.

To get to Golden grounds take hi 95 towards Radium...go about a mile or so out of town and there is a sign I think that says wild life veiwing ..turn left and go straight ahead and up the hill to the grounds.
