Good Trailer Dealership in the US

Postby dw09 » Fri Apr 15, 2011 12:05 pm

Seeings as how our dollar is great and that the US has horse trailers for way cheaper, I was just wondering which dealerships people have bought from down there and how they were to bring the trailer to the border and what not.

I just got a wicked deal on a Lakota from Vehichle Venture in Ontario. I paid for it in US funds so that was alot cheaper and didn't have to pay duty, etc.

Denny's trailer sales in Wykoff Minnistoda were fantastic to me and I am dealing with them again. The made the out of country process painless and carry one of the top brand trailers.....Elite.

We also bought a trailer at Dennys Trailers a few years back. It was what he said, he treated us well and seemed very honest. Good luck! :-D

We brought one back before x-mas from http://www.featherlitetrailers.com out of Elko, Minnesota. She was super to deal with and met us in Grand Fork, North Dakota. Happy hunting!

Uncle Bob's Trailers are fantastic. They will deliver right to Shelby.

Iverson Chrysler which is a licensed Featherlite dealership in Mitchell, SD were amazing to deal with. I just brought one up a month ago. Had all my paper work ready when I crossed the border, had no issues and will be dealing with them again in the future, good luck!!

Thanx for all the input everyone! I'll check out each of these places. I had been looking at one at Uncle Bob's so it's good to know other people have dealt with them :-D

DW. I have bought two trailers from Uncle Bobs. They are very honest and will look after you no matter what your concern is during the sale & after you get the trailer home.

Double J trailers in Woodland WA is great. We just picked up our trailer this winter and it was easy, painless, and CHEAP. If your from Alberta or BC its even better. they will deliver to BC as well.
