Probiotic supplements

Postby JVH » Thu May 03, 2012 10:30 pm

Was just told by the vet to start feeding my horse a probiotic supplement to help with ulcers. Does anyone know of any and who sells them. Thanks

Equine Choice is a great probiotic...most probiotics maintain the fore gut but Equine Choice reaches the hind gut as well. My mare has always had ulcer issues, I've used the biotic 8, Sliver Lining LCR, aloe vera gel helps also..i saw results using all of these but the Equine Choice has kept a handle on it the best, as soon as I put her on it I can see her feed sticking to her better and she feels less stressed

I've had good results with Forco, but some can be picky about eating it.
