Best Fly Sheet

Postby louise » Sat Jun 09, 2012 10:04 am

What has everyone found to be the best fitting fly sheet. Something that won't roll and won't rub the shoulders or withers.
I was buying from Schneiders because they had the adjustable neck and these were okay but they take forever to come and the shipping is ridiculously high, so need some other suggestions, hopefully something I can get in Canada.

Thanks!

The best fly sheets ever are Shedrow at Greenhawk. They are tough tough tough. The material is not flimsy. They have a gusset on the front too. Only 89$. Plus they fit well. Some people buy them to put over their winter blankets to protect them. I run them on my horses out in the pasture. They just last.

Just an update . . .
I tried the Shedrow from Greenhawk, the price was right . . .
I did have to return them and order a larger size than I usually do to get the front/chest area to fit (it didn't meet in the middle, buckles would do up but there was a gap, and my horses are not chunky or wide in the chest).

But once I had a larger size they fit really nice in the shoulder and neck area, were a bit long over the butt but still okay. They didn't rub anyone's shoulders or withers, didn't roll, and are still intact (straps and all) after the summer, so I am happy.
I just know now that I have to go up a size if I order these again.
