What area are you looking for? There are a few around the mayerthorpe area. Buffy Morton (Romeo), Jacqueline Stogin, Chad Muldoon. There are a lot around but those are a couple off the top of my head! They are good :) Happy Trails 8o)

I'd have to go with Rusty Quam. She rides all winter and does an excellent job!

When picking a trainer, go with someones style that you would suit. It will be an easier transition for both you and your horse when you get him back and want to continue. There are several good trainers in Alberta.... Randa Nugent, Brook Robertson, Rusty Quam, Kirsty White.....they all do a great job : ) good luck in your search.

Definately look at the trainers style compared to yours and their body size. If you have short/long legs pick a trainer that has a similar build. Just seen girls have troubles getting their horses to work because of this.

I also agree with posters who suggest finding a trainer that rides in a style, manner similar to you.
Maybe look for trainers who have horses that placed /won $ with their owner after coming home from a trainer.
Some trainers are easier to ride behind than others.

I also endorse Candace Weder in Ardrossan, Double DIamond Stables.
