Irvines brand roping saddles - looking for feedback

Postby Sam » Wed Dec 12, 2012 6:46 pm

Looking for feedback on the Irvine brand of saddle, particularly the roping. Wondering how they fit, leather quality, etc.

Thanks!

In my experience they haven't been very high quality, and I've heard a few stories of twisted trees. Personally, I would look for a good used one if it were me.

My daughter has a Teskeys which is who make the Irvines ones and it has been a great saddle. She has roped in it for 6 years now and still looks and functions great. Fits all her horses good as well. We also owned a few Teskey's barrel saddles which we loved but remember every saddle is different so make sure you look at it good before purchasing.
