Biggar is a pretty cute little town.
There are 2 schools, the public school is K to 12 and the Catholic is K to 9 I believe.
We are about 60km's from there and I would think their weather is about the same as ours.
We get quite a bit of snow and rain, well this year and last summer we did anyway! Its very sandy there too.
Its only about an hour from Saskatoon so it is convenient.
As far as fitting in, I am sure there wouldn't be any issues. There are some very nice people in Biggar.
There is a outdoor rodeo arena in the Valley, they have jackpots, gymkhanas and a high school rodeo there.
