Cheyenne Shorty Horses

Postby cowhorse1 » Tue Aug 27, 2013 9:08 am

Just wondering if anyone out there has had any experience with Cheyenne Shorty horses (he used to stand at Bamber Stock Farms by Cold Lake). Any information you have on them would be greatly appreciated. :)

Any of the ones I have been around are extremely athletic and naturally very elevated in the shoulders. The babies were pretty easy to work with and were very cowy. Not going to have the same speed as a big running horse but very nice horses.

What is it that you are wanting to know? Beckers summed up alot. They are sensitive horses, when crossed on some hotter blood mares they are very sensitive and prone to being hot, when crossed on the cooler blood mares they are very trainable. Always strive to pleases. Beautiful headed horses with very balanced conformation, can be slight on the bone and hoof with some of the mares he was crossed with. There will be no more Shortys. Pm me if you want more info, I am a Bamber
