Centurion Therapulse blankets VS. Thermotex Infrared Blanket

Postby Boo » Tue Mar 25, 2014 9:00 am

Looking for pros / cons to both these type of therapies and what injuries do either excel better at than the other at.
Any opinions are appreciated (both systems are very pricey :-) ....)

I have a Centurion blanket with neck and 2 of the mini pulse for legs/hocks etc.
No cons! Love it! One of my friends has the Infrared blanket. Seems it is more to
confirm what sore and relax some. Don't treat as much as I feel I get from me. But in
fairness I don't have both blankets and I just have to go off what she tells me and how I see her use the Infrared.

I have a thermotex blanket and I love it! the only bad thing is having to plug it in when your horse is being bad. I used it on my old horse that was really cinchy and would try kick you when you put his blankets on, but after a couple of treatments with the thermotex he never tried kicking me again. I have the boots and the blanket and both work great!
