Postby jt » Fri Jan 11, 2008 3:33 pm

Thanks Holly

Monica Wilson is probably the best person for you to get ahold of.

Her number is 403-653-4234.

You can also ask on here and I can try to answer you as best as I can.
You can only have one thought at a time, will it be positive or negative?

Cardston and Brooks events will be doing a mail out and also an online form.
The first payments will start in March. If you are not on the list yet you can be put on by contacting myself or Monica.

As for the other events they will be doing either a mail out or onlines entry forms.

**The only mail out that Monica is doing this year is for Cardston and Brooks.**

Each event has their own set of rules that must be followed but in saying that....Most of the events follow the same set of basic rules.
The most important rule to remember is that if you are wanting to futurity your horse he must be 5 years old or younger and must NOT have competed on them before Dec. 1st, 2007 in any barrel racing event. You can time only but no jackpots, playdays, gymkanas (sp) or any other function that you pay a fee or win money.

I hope all that makes sense.....If there are any question please ask!! 8o)

futurity

I sent a one page info sheet out yesterday. It has the information on South Country and Silver Sage (Southern Spurs). The nomination dates for Silver Sage are Feb 15 and Mar 14. For South Country - Mar 1 and Apr. 1.

It also listed all the futurities for the year.

We are trying to get them all on line at www.canadianbarrelfuturities.com

If you cannot get the entry form please call me and I will do my best to get it to you.
Thanks Monica

The Silver Sage Futurity and Derby will accept grade horses as long as a vet verifies that the horse is futurity or derby age.

The Silver Sage Futurity and Derby with an Open Jackpot (formely known as the Southern Spurs Futurity/Derby and Barrel-O-Rama) information has been sent to the Canadian Barrel Futuriy, so please keep checking their web site for the entry form and rules.
