Good Trainer who starts colts in S. Alberta

Postby JC » Wed Jan 30, 2008 9:14 pm

Looking for someone who is good at starting colts in southern Alberta. Must be able to get them soft and supple, loping nice circles, and rides them outside quit a bit.

The BEST out there is Shawn and April Williamson in Saskatchewan!!

It is worth the extra miles to get them there!! I would not have anyone else start my colts!
I have been using them for the last 3 or 4 years and they are the absolute BEST!!!!!!

I cannot stress that enough. Our horses come back broke!!
You can only have one thought at a time, will it be positive or negative?

I agree 110% with Randa - April did some work with my colt and wow - what a difference - he went from being a spoiled jerk to a horse I absolutely LOVE now - She is so worth the extra miles. I would drive from BC in a heartbeat to have another colt worked on by April!!
My journey is not to arrive at my grave site rested and in a well preserved body......but rather to skid in, jump off my horse and shout........Holy S*!T .....what a ride!!
