Bringing A Horse In From The US

Postby LT » Wed Mar 26, 2014 12:16 pm

I have recently purchased a mare in foal out of Montana. I want to pick her up in a couple weeks. Other than the Coggins and Health papers what else do I need?
I also need contact information for a broker.
Are there anytimes that I can't cross the border?
Thanks in advance for anymore information you can provide me.
Thanks,

LT

I just brought one in & had Coggins & Health Papers. AND the website she was listed on because they wanted to verify the price.
You don't need a broker.
You'll just have to pay the GST and you'll be fine just coming from Montana. There are other paper requirements from certain states.
A horse lover is a horse lover, no matter what their discipline!!!
