Advertise Your Ad in your Round Pen signature

Postby admin » Fri Oct 30, 2009 5:41 am

In order to help folks market their horses, trailers, saddles, products etc. we are going to allow you to add your ad link to your signature profile.

Each time you post, your signature line will contain the link to your ad.

This is a trial only, so please read the rules and follow carefully so we can continue to use this tool.

Short title description and link only. Let your ad do the advertising.
No extra promo within your signature.
Do not include your personal/business website link or any other promo within the signature field.
Stay current and renew your ad or delete your signature link when it expires.

Here's how you get your link in the signature field:

Find the email that confirmed your ad had been placed online. It will be from and the subject: Your Ad Has Been Placed
There will be a link to your ad included (looks like this, only you'll have a different number:
Copy that with your mouse.
Get yourself logged into the Round Pen > Top left click on User Contol Panel. > Then click the Profile Tab > Then click the signature link > Put your cursor in the box and Paste your link in. Add your short description. > You can preview, then submit.

If you don't have that email you can grab the link off your ad listing from the top url, its just going to look messy: ... -Sale.html and will likely be too long to fit anyway.

What you can do is go to your ad, find the listing ID and switch your number out for mine in the link that looks like this: Make sure you test it first though.

If you have questions, feel free to post them here so others can learn as well. Chances are if you have the question someone else will too.
Enjoy! :-D
What happens is not as important as how you react to what happens. -Thaddeus Golas
